Every route includes indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor deck seating, live music, phone charging stations, and a snack bar on board — and the ferry is both pet- and bike-friendly at no extra cost. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. An open-dated ticket stays valid for six months from purchase.
Traveling with kids? Infants under 12 months ride free (a boarding pass is still required). Ages 1 year through 1.20m tall pay the child fare; anyone taller than 1.20m pays full adult price.

If you're staying in the Hotel Zone and don't want the extra drive, Playa Tortugas or Playa Caracol keep you close by — you'll just pay a bit more than Puerto Juárez. If you're downtown, staying near Puerto Juárez, or just want the lowest fare and don't mind a short taxi ride, that's usually your best bet.
